Moorfield Kennels

The boarding kennels are brand new and purpose built to a very high standard. Each kennel has open views of the countryside. The kennels are very light and airy and the fully insulated construction of the kennels ensures that your dog stays snug and warm during the winter months but cool in summer. All our kennels are thermostatically heated.

We offer raised beds with a deep-filled mattress and blankets to our guests, which are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between occupants. Alternatively if you wish to bring your dog’s own bedding we are more than happy to accommodate your request.

A Veterinary Surgeon is on call 7 days per week.

We treat all our guests on an individual basis and we are more than happy to listen and discuss your special requirements whilst you dog is on holiday with us.

All our guests are exercised four times per day and their walks include strolling around our fields, adventure woodland walks where your dog may see the local wildlife and also off the lead playtime in our large secure outdoor play area. We also take our guests out on a moonlight stroll just before their bedtime and on their return to bed we give a “goodnight doggy biscuit”

A “doggy day care” crèche is available if you need to go away for the day.

All our guests are fed twice daily unless we are instructed otherwise.

All dogs must be fully vaccinated against Distemper, Hepetitis, Leptosporosis and Parvorirus. We also require that you vaccinate against Kennel Cough. All up-to-date vaccination certificates must be shown when you bring your dog for their holidays.
